EIBIC is a transformative mandatory programme designed to embed entrepreneurship education directly into the academic experience of students, equipping them with practical skills, innovative thinking, and the mindset required to create sustainable businesses while pursuing their degrees.

Aim: Move students from classrooms to companies — from ideas to impact — and from graduates to job creators, by building a pipeline of founders, innovators, and entrepreneurs.
Key Facts & Statistics:

  • Currently implemented in 14 universities nationwide
  • Early Exposure: begins with 100-level students from the start of their degree
  • Concurrent Learning: runs alongside students’ full degree programme
  • Practical training in real-world business concepts, innovation strategies, and startup development
  • Access to mentors, incubators, accelerators, and potential funding opportunities
  • Dual credentials upon completion: academic degree + entrepreneurship certificate
  • At UNILAG, 8 of 10 S-VCG finalists selected were EIBIC students
